Revamped the Blog

I had to shut 'er down for a few days and make sure the ole blog was "okay for public view." Social media sites and personal websites have become so prominent these days that people have to watch every word they type. Social media is the first place that people look for information on folks. There's nothing wrong with that, but it can cause problems. Therefore, I no longer post anything on my blog that I wouldn't want a family member, friend, employer, church, potential business associate, law enforcement specialist, insurance company, or any other such entity to see. You get the picture. I think that's a wise measure for all social media users and website owners, no matter who they are. It doesn't mean that I have something to hide. It just means that I don't want everyone accessing all my writings. Since I can't control who looks at my blog posts, I have to control which writings go to the public. Make sense? Good.

Today I'm doing some writing work. Tomorrow I'll be taking a scholastic test. The next day I'll be working. Hopefully, I'll have some time in between to finish writing my newest song. I came up with the bright idea to make a modern-type beat but use faith-based lyrics for it. I figured I'd give those mumble rappers a run for their money, ha-ha. I made a trap beat, and it sounds good. I have my hook already. I just have to write all the lyrics that go in between the hook. I want to sing/rap to a variety of music so that the message can make it to a diverse group of people. That's why I did it. It was fun, too. If I pull it off, it will show my versatility as an artist.
